I'm saddened with this news.
As luck would have it, we happened to be on an English Exchange our summer as juniors. When I think back, I'm finding myself thinking of how she exuded an energy that I wanted to share, and enjoyed being around.  I've been thinking a lot about JoAnn these past couple of days, just vague memories, all good.
Peace.

Nice post Richard. Robin and I have such fond memories of that trip and Joanne.   She was always a delight.  Fun, energetic and a great attitude!  Not sure if you heard the Chris Mavroides from our UK group sadly passed away about 2 years ago. I understand he was a very accomplished and well loved doctor.  We were 16 on that trip. 52 years ago!  Time and people are going by so fast. 16 more years and we'll all be well past the average life span.  Its been a great run so far. Hope it continues for awhile.  Best wishes, Paul
