What an incredible front-man you were in all our bands! Like Whip said, you'd take the microphone and belt out a song... I was hoping to catch up with you and share some stores of the old days-- I guess you called once but my mom lost your number. I pictured showing slides and pictures of the Albino Shave Freak Band (you were the albino, sort of) with Steve Bass (guitar) and Andy Tucker (bass) when we played at Muzzey Junior High School (maybe 1967?) with Mr Terry as the principal. The whole gymnasium was filled... and we rocked them on Blodwyn Pig... and Cherish. Or the nights we'd play at the Attic (Hancock Church) where we really knocked out Led Zeppelin... or at Diamond Jr High School... and many other venues around Middlesex. Pretty heady stuff for a bunch of 15-year olds... may your parents and kids feel welcome to hear your stories in your stead.

I just read that Bob Tagen had passed away. And now you. Almost all the old members of our band are gone.

I'll always have fond memories of you, your family, Jonathan Winters, Laura Mirsky, Amy Phillips,  and various destruction we wrecked upon the Lexington Golf Course late at night.

Rest in peace old friend.

Tom
