There is the shock of such news - the vitality and warmth of the man, and close on is the regret of not following up sooner on our intentions made in September to dust off a long-neglected friendship. This is an unworthy note, but I must post something in honor of this most worthy man and friend. God, in your mercy, remember your child, John.
Through such loss, we grow closer, our dear class of 1972. Just this week while at Richard Stoico's restaurant, I learned of the loss of our colleague and classmate John. "You can't move people to action unless you first move them with emotion. The heart comes before the head" ....(Studer) I pray for John and his family at this time and for our class and for more fun times ahead when we gather together.
